About Us

V-TECH was founded in 1992 focused on new product and technology development. We started out helping our clients develop new products for energy utilities, home networking/smart homes, communications networking and consumer electronics markets. Over the next several years, we saw these market sectors converge driven by deregulation, technological innovations, the Internet and Web technologies. As a result, we also evolved to work closely with customers in the energy efficiency, renewables and demand-side management fields. This in turn led to us acquiring the Software Products and Services group of Paragon Consulting Services in a friendly deal in 2010.

V-TECH’s E2DR® is a sophisticated software product suite that enables utilities to implement, track and manage energy efficiency (EE), demand-side management (DSM), and renewable energy (RE) programs. V-TECH’s software products and services enable utility customers to use customized software applications to reduce overall costs, launch programs faster, improve management visibility and increase program effectiveness, all with no additional impact on their internal IT systems. V-TECH has a proven track record with a variety of industry clients. We have enabled client utilities, through the use of our E2DR product suite, to rapidly develop and manage complex programs with an attractive ROI.

We have delivered impressive results for our clients to date. Selected key milestone achievements include:

• We have delivered tracking and reporting for over $384 million worth of energy efficiency, demand response and renewable program portfolios.
• These have included over 60 different programs spanning residential, commercial, industrial and governmental markets.
• Our work has accounted for over 2.15 billion kWh of savings reported to date by our customers: using an average cost of $0.10/kWh, this amounts to over $200 million in savings already. Given the fact that many of these programs have several measures with estimated measure life of 10 years or more, several more millions of dollars' worth of savings have been already banked by our clients to meet future targets mandated by their Commissions.
• So far, we have handled data from over 30 implementation contractors from all over the U.S. who are now familiar with interacting with the E2DR product suite making it that much easier and faster for our clients to get started with their DSM program tracking and reporting activities.

And, we are constantly looking for ways to help more clients to achieve similar impressive results.
